Abstract

This study aims to investigate knowledge about oral health among community health agents (CHA) n = 103 in São Carlos, SP. The self-administered questionnaire will consist of 24 questions and was developed based on previous studies. The study variables refer to ethnicity, gender, age, education, and knowledge on the etiology and prevention of caries and gingivitis. Data collection will be conducted by the researcher, through the application of a questionnaire to the population of this study, previously scheduled time. Data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics and tests of association among the variables of interest.
