Abstract

The Research Internship Abroad to be developed in Grupo de Estudios sobre Población y Território (GESPyT)/Universidade Nacional Mar del Plata aims at making a comparative study between the rural areas of Brazil and Argentina, more specifically, the município Dracena / SP / Brazil and the Partido General Pueyrredon / BA / Argentina. The research proposal seeks to contribute to the master's research developed in Brazil aimed at increasing the theoretical framework and enrich the current analysis. In addition to the literature and secondary data source, the activities developed in GESPyT will be centered on participation in meetings and discussions, the presentation of search results in Brazil for discussion in the study group and the stage of the supervisor, and the work of field in the localities of Partido General Pueyrredon / Buenos Aires, in which we intend to conduct an exploratory study in order to highlight similarities and differences between the realities studied, as well as traces of the characteristics of rural areas Latin Americans. We selected two localities of the Partido General Pueyrredon: Él Boqueron and Sierra de Los Padres. (AU)
