Abstract

This project aims at the development of two independent studie. In the first one, we plan to execute an asymmetric conjugate addition of monosubstituted isoxazol-5-ones to different alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl compounds. In the second project, we aim the preparation of alpha-fluorinated and alpha-trifluoromethylated alkynes In both projects, the obtained compounds will be employed in further transformations, in order to demonstrate their usefulness in organic synthesis.
