Abstract

A setup for the monitoring of laser beam propagation in linear and non-linear medium, based on the SLIM method, will be assembled. A RGB digital camera will be used instead of a monochromatic one and a program to distinguish two different color beams will be developped and implemented, based on the Wolfram-Mathematica plataform. This software will also allow to measure the intensity versus position for the propagating beams. The setup and the program will be applied to experiments of propagation of lasers (570 nm, 532 nm and 405 nm) in scattering media (nanoparticles in water) and in a solution of rhodamine 6G (in water). Both pumping and fluorescente beam propagation will be studied using this setup.
