Abstract

Cereals are the foods most produced on the planet, are part of the feeding habits of many people due to its ease of maintenance and conservation, are the main calorie providers to humans and among the best known is the wheat (Triticum spp.) , the second largest cereal produced. The wheat cultivation has increased its area in Brazil, currently holding the Cerrado thanks to technological advancement and adoption of principles of conservation agriculture and management culture, aimed at increasing the productivity of quality food. Thus, the main goal is to study the effect of cover crops in consortium in the development and wheat yield grown in rotation and fertilized with different doses of nitrogen in coverage tillage system. The experimental design will be randomized blocks and shall be the effect of the combination of cultural remains of unique corn and other crops (exclusive Corn, Corn + Crotalaria spectabilis; Corn + pigeon pea, corn + jack bean, corn + Urochloa riziziensis) with different doses of nitrogen in (0, 40, 80 and 120 kg ha-1), with 4 replications. The work will be developed in the Experimental Farm area of Education and Research belonging to the Faculty of Ilha Solteira - UNESP, located in Selvíria - MS. The soil of the site and the type Red-Dark dystrophic clayey, originally under savannah vegetation. During the development of the project the following evaluations will be performed: dry matter yield, plant height, leaf N in the content, degree of lodging, corn for grain number, grain yield, mass of 1000 grains and hectoliter mass.
