Abstract In this project, nanostructured materials, such as metal oxides, graphene oxide and thin films, will be developed and applied in molecular devices. Metal oxide (TiO2, Nb2O5, ZnO) and graphene oxide films will be obtained after improving their characteristics, in energy conversion devices. The film morphology will be characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy, perfilometry, electron and/or atomic force microscopies, before and after having Re(I) and Ru(II) complexes in their surfaces. The electric and photoelectrochemical properties will be determined by current-potential curves and impedance spectroscopy. New synthetic routes and innovation will be added to improve the quality of mesoporous TiO2 pastes and compact layers of oxides. The film performances will be evaluated in sensors and energy conversion devices. (AU) | |
