Abstract

This project of research is aimed at exploring new applications for a new bi-functional catalyst. We intend to use this new catalyst in th eMorita-Baylis-Hillman (MBH) reaction with a-keto esters and for the direct formation of indolizines from MBH adducts prepared from 2-pyridinecarboxyaldehydes.
