Abstract

The quality control is one of the final stages of preparation of cartographic products process and aims to evaluate the lineage, attributes fidelity, completeness, logical consistency, fidelity to semantic, temporality and geometric. With technological advances in mapping process there was an increase in the production and geo-information, mainly using technology based on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). However, for a digital product can be accepted as the reference product of the National Cartographic System (SCN), 90% or 1.6449 * EP (standard error) of the discrepancies between the coordinates of the points collected in cartographic product, compared with their field raised coordinates should have the same or lower than those provided for in PEC-PCD (Cartographic Accuracy of Digital Cartographic Standard Products). In this scientific initiation research the geometric quality will be evaluated in terms of tendency and precision of Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and orthophoto-mosaics obtained from the images acquired with Vant ebee with different pixel size on the ground (Ground Sample Distance - GSD).
