Abstract

This Project is the master research Project development, under orientation of Professor Regina Facchini, which aims to collaborate to the comprehension about the new ways of making policies enabled by the New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC). It is part of the anthropological studies of political and social movements, in dialogue with the studies about gender and sexuality, once its empirical focus is the meaning competition about politics, making policies and the homosexuality in an online community directed to LGBT university students with offline interaction. The general goal is to understand the modalities of political action enable from spaces of online LGBT sociability, and the way how the limits are tensioned, creating e recreating boundaries, conventions and meanings about politics, and making policies, by both social networking users without greater involvement with the social movements and activists more present in their daily lives. Thus, the ethnography is used as the main methodology to produce data, trying to understand the fluid of online and offline interactions. A dense bibliographic review related to the cyberspace and the social movements is used to analyze the material produced through the previous methodology. (AU)
