Abstract

This project proposes the analysis of a series of 56 materials collage books called by Júlio César de Mello e Souza, the "Malba Tahan" as file notebooks. This material is in the Education Memory Center of the School of Education at Unicamp and contains 4,010 documents. To develop the project I will use as materials and supplies these files Notebooks and problematic will be working with the logic of filing documentation that comes from teaching and holder of the writer activity. The overall goal is to understand how the teacher and the writer appear in the memory itself built by Júlio César de Mello e Souza, and the specific objectives: Sort the documents of the file notebooks of the collection, take stock of the acquis file logbooks; analyze archiving practices of Júlio César de Mello e Souza and reflect on the construction of the memory itself by Júlio César de Mello e Souza. The research is justified by proposing perform from documentary sources of the collection, a study from teacher to writer Júlio César and understand the relation between the teacher and the writer and how they appear in the memory itself built by Júlio César. The methodology will be based on the survey of theoretical references on the cultural history of education and subsequent analysis of the classification and evaluation of the documents contained in these books. So the search is based on the reflections of Martha Carvalho (1998) and Diana Vidal (2004) on working with sources and cultural history in the History of Education. Therefore, the methodology of this research work will begin by classifying the documentation of the acquis file notebooks, make an inventory of these, analyze Júlio César archiving practices and ultimately reflect on the construction of its memory.
