Abstract

The study presented here in is intended to meet the objectives inherent in the post-doctoral training and deepen knowledge on the topic addressed during the development of the study. Thus, the expectation is that it can, through the development of a research titled: Using the children follow-up instrument (SAC) in the perspective of inclusive education and participation in scientific activities in the Department of Education, University of Aveiro, Portugal, particularly those supervised by Prof. Dr. Gabriela Portugal, have the opportunity to gain more knowledge about the children follow-up instrument (SAC) in early childhood education, with special focus on Brazilian inclusive education, through the exploratory study of the application of the SAC. Thus, data collection will be held in Brazil, with preschool teachers from public schools in the city of Santos, in the first half of 2015. To this end, about 6 teachers of Santos will be invited to participate. To use the SAC by participants, meetings will be held during the month of February 2015, between the researcher and teachers for presentation, study and discussion of the SAC, as well as the chips that make it up. After application of the 3 phases of the SAC, interviews will be conducted with the participating teachers on the use of it in everyday school life and how this system can help in school inclusion processes. Data analysis will be carried out jointly with other activities planned for the postdoctoral stage, from the second half of 2015. It is believed that this study may contribute to the knowledge produced about the quality of early childhood education from the perspective of inclusive education, as well as teacher training and performing other future studies, encouraging the exchange of researchers and the internationalization of public universities.
