Abstract

Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis is an important method for obtaining fractions of protein in blood and urine, either in humans and animals. It is proposed with this assay investigate tubule-glomerular alterations by electrophoresis. Fifteen dogs naturally infected with cinomose will be used. For the control group 10 healthy dogs without laboratorial alterations and serology and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) negative for commonly diseases found in the region. The animals will be selected from the routine of Veterinary Teaching Hospital UNIFRAN and UNESP, Jaboticabal. Through this experiment will improve our understanding of renal impairment and asses the tubular and glomerular damages in this group of patients.
