Abstract

The development of synthetic methods to obtain hybrid materials of conductive polymers and metallic materials that are simple, fast, that occurs at room temperature and uses safe solvents has been gaining attention. In this context, this proposal aims to obtain, in a single step, hybrid materials of polythiophenes (PT), one of the most extensively studied conducting polymers, and silver from the direct oxidation of thiophene derivatives using a silver salt soluble in an ionic liquid.
