Abstract

We propose research activities in the Center of Autonomous Systems and NeuroRobotics (NRAS), Department of Technology, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. The project will be developed at Synthetic Perceptive, Emotive and Cognitive Systems (SPECS) Laboratory under supervision of Prof. Dr. Paul Verschure, director of NRAS and member of ICREA/Barcelona. The objectives are: 1) implement the prototype and computer infrastructure of the interactive media lab and digital immersion; 2) write the book "Science and Art Creativity: Realizing Vico's loop in a journey between science and art: Create, Make, Understand" with Prof. Dr. Paul Verschure and Dr. Anna Mura. The work plan starts with our participation in the "Barcelona Cognition, Brain and Technology Summer School - BCBT2015", and it follows activities to develop the prototype of the laboratory and to compile and write the chapters of the book. We hope to end this project with the Lab full installed at NICS/Unicamp and the publication of the book by Springer-Verlag. Otherwise, this Laboratory is an important part of the project 470358/2014-9 CNPq that has been developed at NICS.
