Abstract The purpose of this paper is to develop a comparative analysis between nazi andintegralist ideas according to the notion of "economic imaginary". Therefore, we will base our research on two militants from such movements on whose works there is a special concern with the economic theme: Gottfried Feder and Gustavo Barroso. It is recurrent, in the works of both authors, the theme of a Jewish conspiration by means of the banks, interest rates and speculative capital. The concept of "mammonism", used by both authors to describe the unbridled search for material assets, will be the main thread of our research. We will try to understand how each author made use of this concept and how their writings helped set the economic imaginary of their political movements. Thus, we hope not only to show new possibilities for the comparative analyzes between integralism and national-socialism, but also to propose the use of the ideia of "imaginary" in the field of Economic History. | |
