Abstract

This research intends to develop a diagnosis of the spatial accessibility in the Historical and Tourist Centre of the city of Santos - tourist town localized in the southern coast of São Paulo State. The methodology shall consist in applying of multimethod: survey of the physical and geometric characteristics, technical inspection and photographic surveys. As a result, it can be affirmed that research can contribute to the formulation of public policies to provide better quality of life in the city.
