Abstract

The search for sustainability products and materials is more time in the present world. Gaining high performance and sustainability concretes is more time solicitated for market. The high performance concrete (HPC) is a product in a big ascension in the world, being target of several researchs and companies that need of products with better quality and performance. This project has like finality indicate one ideal percentage for substitution of part of cement by metakaolin, indicating the better dose of materials presents in the local to be using for the obtainment of HPC. The method of dose used will be based in the method of particle dispersion and packing. Will be found the relation water/binder, the quantity of Portland cement for cubic meter, the quantity of aggregates by the method of packing and the quantity of additive superplasticizer, that will define for the Marsh's funnel, that will be used in the production of HPC. Will be using three remains to making of bodies of proof, being a rich in Portland cement of 1:3,5; an intermediary of 1:5,0 and a poor remain in Portland cement of 1:6,5. To each remain will be using the metakaolin as partial replacement of in the proportions of 5, 10, 15 and 20% in relation the Portland cement mass, as well as will be addicted activate silica as addition to concrete in the proportion of 8% of total mass of binder. To each remain produced, will make the one control remain of HPC without addiction of metakaolin. The both remains, the control remain and HPC with addiction will be realizing the essay of slump test. The essays of axial compression and the essays of water absorption will be realized with the concretes on the ages 7, 28, 60 and 90 days. The essays will realize accordingly the standards indicate by Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT). The results gained with the HPCs produced with addictions will be compared with the reference HPCs.
