Abstract

This project aims to analyze the emergence and transformation of primary health care policy aimed for homeless people in Brazil, and evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of a team of "Surgery in the Street (Consultório na Rua)" in the city of São Paulo. To do so, we intends to conduct a participatory evaluation of a service whose planning, data collection and judgment will be shared with agents (managers, workers and users), using the techniques of constructing logical model, open interviews and focus groups, and referred the case to an assessment committee with these agents. We will also conduct a socio-historical study of this care model, based on sociogenesis proposed by Pierre Bourdieu. We will seek information for document analysis and interviews with those who participated in the genesis of our object, to understand their life histories and participation in policymaking health for the population in homelessness. The results of the assessment and sociogenesis will be discussed in a joint analysis. (AU)
