Abstract The general interest of this research project lies in the imponderable factors resulting from the application of the anthropological cognitive principles, discussed through the epistemological and institutional emerging process of the French anthropology during the interwar period, when this discipline, aiming at a scientific status, sought to differentiate itself from the literature and the arts. Through an evidential paradigm, that departs from apparently banal details but is able to lead to an extended analytical scale, this project seeks to identify fissures in the epistemological frontier among the anthropology, the literature and the arts of this period, which provide the starting points of five case studies focused on the classificatory systems of these activities and the circulation of people and ideas among them. In doing so, this proposal aims to offer an original perspective, drawn from the margins of the discipline, on the history, the practices and the cognitive foundations of anthropology. | |
