Abstract

In this project, we address a possible shift in doctoral research on development, which, from a theoretical perspective of the French Discourse analysis, a reflection on the historical and epistemological conditions that allowed the different emergencies of discourse studies in France. In general, when we seek to describe the history trodden by any scientific discipline, we can stop in on one (maybe two or three) thoughts founders who firmly delimit the contours of the field of knowledge concerned. In the case of discourse analysis, however, it is very difficult to describe such writings founders: there is no equivalent in the case of Newton; Pasteur, Durkheim, Freud, or even de Saussure, ie founder personalities whose role is recognized by the entire scientific community in which they enroll. This is a rather wide search space that can't refer to a single emergency takes place. Thus, we seek a seizure of new concepts and discussions with other works that deal directly with our object of study, aimed at investigating the historical conditions of the emergence of discourse analysis in the French context based on theoretical considerations of Johannes Angermuller (2013, 2015). Our further research is grounded in the beating description and interpretation of the facts. In addition, one must understand that our purpose is not, of course, make a history of discourse analysis; it refers only to recover some particularly striking elements of the emergence of speech concept in the French context to analyze their relevance in discourse studies in Brazil.
