Abstract

Clinical psychology schools had their beginning with Law No. 4,119, of August 1962, which stipulated that, from that moment, the training courses in psychology should establish, for free or in a remunerated way, services responsible to provide consultations aimed at public, under the premise that educational research and extension aspects pass to act in a unified way. In the same base, the Cognitive-Behavioral Research and Intervention Laboratory at the University of São Paulo (USP-LaPICC) were founded in 2009 by Prof. Dra. Carmen Beatriz Neufeld, in an attempt to integrate research, training of therapists and supervisors, and offering a quality service to the population. Therefore, this project has the objective of making a survey and the profile of the patients that received psychological care offered by internships of the LaPICC-USP, through a documentary descriptive study. In order to achieve this goal, it will be made a surveying of the records of patients who were treated between the years 2009 and 2015 in order to analyze the available information about the initial interview (conducted during screening) and other data present in the records of service (such as demand for the service, expectations for therapy, presence of diagnosis, duration of care and referral). Subsequently, the results will be analyzed using descriptive statistics.
