Abstract

This research project aims to explore an automotive system developed to simulate the action of the geothermal fluid that will generate electricity to rotate a motor. Thus, studies will be done in a way to approach the simulation of a real case. There are some types of geothermal machines, therefore, the binary cycle will be studied to generate energy through the Rankine cycle. This machine was chosen because it uses the primary fluid (geothermal) to heat a secondary fluid that has a low boiling point, so the system can be used in places where there are low temperatures of internal fluid. "EES - engineering equation solver" will be used to find the enthalpy of the gases and the engine speed control will be made by LabVIEW software. (AU)
