Abstract

The proposal of this research is based on the mapping of Brazilian academic scientific journals in education. The inquiry is one of the specific objectives of the mother project entitled "The school and its culture in didactic relationships: the senses and mediations." The discussion about the politics of teachers education in Brazilian academic journals allows to check how the discussions have been presented in the last years. The general objective of this research is to map what has been discussed in academic productions of politics in teachers education. The main objectives consist on accomplishing an investigation of published articles in academic periodics: Revista Brasileira de Educação (qualis A1), Revista Diálogo Educacional (qualis A2) and Educação e Pesquisa (qualis A1); analize the main themes addressed in the articles about politics of teachers education which are in the mentioned periodics; correlate the main bibliographic sources used by the articles authors, about these politics, beyond to point through the establishment of categories what the Brazilian educational field has been debating about teachers education in the period from 2011 to 2014. As a result, we seek to contribute to the improvement of the discussions about the politics in teachers education at the Brazilian educational field, comprising more over what are its trends in the last years and consequently, to improve it around the license teachers course.
