Abstract

This project, based on the proposal of a discursive analysis communication, designed byKrieg-Planque (2006 and 2009) and in the theory phrases without text, supported byDominique Maingueneau (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014) aims to understand thediscursive functioning of the Brazilian political communication. For this purpose, westudied an archive consisted of a set of materials; posts; iconotexts; jingles about theBrazilian presidential elections in the period of April to October 2014 and werecirculated in the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo; in CartaCapital Magazine; in VejaMagazine and refer to the three main candidates running for presidency in Brazil, DilmaRousseff; Aécio Neves and Eduardo Campos. At a first view, we seek to understand thepolitical communication from a discursive perspective, we used linguistic anddiscursive bases of which are brought to light by the ability of the utterance to bedetached and put into circulation in different media platforms chosen for analysis.Secondly, after we select the small phrases with major circulation in the texts andelected platforms, pursuing their different paths of resumption or process, we discus 2about the linguistic-discursive features that benefited the resumption, process andcirculation of these small phrases detached in different environments. In conclusion, onone hand, we reflect on the ideological tension that arises between other texts thatcirculate in interdiscourse and small phrases that circulated in different mediaenvironments selected, and, on the other hand, firstly, we reflect on the restrictionboards and social and historical source that exert strong pressure on short extensionutterance and, finally, we discuss the different discursive events that were engenderedby resumption, process and circulation of small phrases during the Brazilian presidential elections.
