Abstract In the Southern Brasília Orogen occurs associations of metamorphic rocks, which were formed during the closure of Gondwana, in the Neoproterozoic. Between them, the Soccoro-Guaxupé Nappe, an allochton terrane, was exposed to extreme metamorphic conditions, reaching conditions of ultra-high temperature, above 900 °C. Besides granulites, there are migmatites, with variable rate of partial melt, and granitic and charnockitic intrusions. The target of this project is to study punctual issues in the sequence and then regionalize the discussion. Metamorphic modeling and geochronology of the granulites with and without diagnostic mineral assemblage of ultra-high temperature will be realized, as well as, it will be investigated the relation between granulites and charnockites, the structural relation between granulites and migmatites and the influence of the Neoproterozoic event on the embasement rocks. Therefore, it will be used geochemistry, geochronology, geothermobarometry, and structural analysis. | |
