Abstract

Considering that some specific knowledge are necessary for teaching practice and considering they are developed along teachers' career, it is very important to investigate them in order to identify and understand how they are built by teachers. Therefore, the main purpose of this project is to investigate the process of teachers' knowledge development in graduated chemistry teachers, in order to identify the knowledge they have already developed and the influences of their training courses and practical experience in the construction of it. We will conduct interviews, class observations and document analysis of sociological portraits of those teachers who were selected to our study, analyzing the data through the triangulation method. This way, we will be able to establish relationships that can lead us to answer the questions proposed by this project.
