Abstract Objective: To estimate the contribution of demographic variables and aesthetic impact on the oral health profile in the lives of adults. For that, initially, it will be necessary to estimate the validity of the Psychosocial Impact of Dental Aesthetics Questionnaire (PIDAQ) to sample. Methods: Will be included in the study of adult patients (18-59 years old) of the Faculty of Dentistry of Araraquara that consent to participate. The demographic questionnaire will be filled, the Psychosocial Impact of Dental Aesthetics Questionnaire (PIDAQ) and the Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14). Will be held validity of face, content, and construct (factorial, convergent, and discriminant). The reliability is also estimated. To check the invariance of PIDAQ will be held multigraphs analysis. To identify the contribution of demographic variables and aesthetics (PIDAQ) the impact of oral health profile (OHIP-14) will be used structural equation modeling. | |
