This study aims to observe the effect of different magnification systems on the working posture during performing cavity preclinical preparations. For this will be done an experimental study of laboratory type. The dependent variable is the ergonomic working posture and the independent variable is the magnification system on 4 levels (direct view; loupe monocular, loupe with Galilean system; loupe with Keplerian system). The loupe monocular will be BioArt, 3.5 increase, loupe with Galilean system will be the binocular kity beauty of UNIVET®, 2.5 increase. For the Keplerian system will be used loupe UNIVET®, 3.5 increase. Class I cavity preparations for composite resin will be performing on the teeth 16, 26, 36 and 46. A spherical cutter diamond 1014 at low speed will be used. Dental phantom head with artificial resin teeth, specific to the cavity preparation in pre-clinical level, will be used. The Dental phantom will be attached to the dental chair to simulate treatment in a clinical setting. The record of working positions will be done through videotaping. The evaluation of images from videotaping will be conducted using the Ergonomic Posture Assessment in Dentistry (EPAD) by a calibrated researcher. To observe the reliability of the postural assessments obtained, will be conducted the intra-examiner reproducibility study, where the researcher will be examined duplicate posture adopted for 20 cavity preparations, with one week interval. The intra-examiner agreement will be estimated through the intraclass correlation coefficient (r) and this study will be considered appropriate intra-examiner agreement level at least classified as "Good". Descriptive statistical analysis will be performed. After checking the normality assumptions and homoscedasticity will be performed analysis of variance (ANOVA) with one factor and Tukey post-test. The significance level will be 5%.
