Abstract

This project has as its main objective the structural elucidation of the natural products Cryptopyranmoscatones B2 and B4 isolated from the Brazilian biodiversity. The synthetic route involves asymmetric Mukaiyama aldol reactions, Krische allylation, cross metathesis and cyclization using the Tsuji-Trost reaction as key steps. We also aim the evaluation of the antineoplastic activity of Cryptopyranmoscatones B2 and B4 and their synthetic intermediates since the biological profiles of these two target compounds remain virtually unknown.
