Abstract

The present research project aims to model the Experience Sampling and Programmed Intervention Method (ESPIM). The method combines selected procedures from programmed teachingtechnologies, Experience Sampling Method (ESM) techniques and ubiquitous computing toplan, create and implement intervention programs. The method will be modeled based on theusage of theories associated to ESM and programmed instruction to define better planning of intervention programs and ubiquitous computing techniques, such as contextual informationand mobile devices to fully or partially implement the programmed intervention. The definition and evolution of the method will be iteratively built, partnering with other researchers from thesame research group, creating versions of the software solution that allows its application. Case studies in the areas of health and education will be conducted to validate the method.
