Abstract

The increased use of the internet has new forms of sociability. While some authors, such as Bauman (2008), consider that the internet has torn apart the bonds, there are studies that show that the relations established on the Internet can be empowering linkages and learning (NICOLACI-DA-COSTA, 2005; GOMES, 2014). This study, based on qualitative approach and inspiration in participatory research (FALS BORDA, 2006; STRECK, 2006) and netnographic (KOZINETS, 2014) aims to investigate ways of strengthening and building social participation strategies supported the use of the Internet young people from Vila dos Pescadores in Cubatao/SP in health. The study subjects are young people 15-24 years old. The choice of neighborhood was made because of the existing opening within the community relationship built through previous and current studies by students and faculty of the UNIFESP Santos, and has the intention to extend and answer questions coming from master's research by Anhas (2015), for the construction processes and strengthening of social participation of young people. The results will be analyzed according to the Depth Hermeneutics (THOMPSON, 2011). Thus, it is expected to analyze the forms of sociability existing between these young people and the possibilities of transforming dialogues of a socio-historical and cultural context marked by social exclusion.
