Abstract Information is an important resource for an organization's survival. This is originated through the production of data arising from the market analysis and using the principles of organizational intelligence. Information is a determining factor for the continuous improvement of organizations, enabling generate strategic value. From this perspective, it is necessary for organizations to use the information efficiently to generate knowledge and enable improved decision making. Social networks strengthens the ability of organizations to plan future actions and make decisions. In this way, the application of organizational intelligence in the social networks, provide improvements to the decision-making process as well as to generate competitive advantages. Organizations have sought to use, more and more the social networks to promote products and services. However, it is important that organizations develop the organizational intelligence process in the context of social networks, in order to develop competitive advantages and innovation. Scanning and know the ropes information in this environment becomes a fundamental action for organizations that want to keep the market in which they act and innovate from the demands of society. | |
