Abstract

Today there is in the world a huge variety of sensors, with the most different objectives. One kind of sensor that has been gaining very fame and importance are the interdigital sensors, because with a small amount of solution and requiring short periods these kind of sensors can provide very accurate and effective answers. Brazil still lacks research or equipment that uses this kind of technology. This research will provide the construction and study of an interdigital sensor for measuring the pH level of certain solutions. At first, it will be prepared, in the laboratory, this sensor and subsequently it will be made the study of its behavior under other many conditions. As a product of this study, a circuit will be implemented with the presence of a microcontroller, that can read and convert the signals (clearly) produced by this type of sensor. The main target is to give the user the information and data on the conditions and solution features.
