Abstract

Objective: To verify and compare the immediate effects on voice quality, in the self-perception of vocal/laryngeal symptoms and of sensations after the application of the sounded high frequency oral oscillation and sounded blowing techniques in dysphonic individuals. Methodology: The study included 30 individuals of both sexes, aged 18-45 years diagnosed with `. The Individuals will perform the vocal techniques of sounded blowing with LaxVox and high-frequency oral oscillation with New Shaker®, randomly, with one week interval between the execution of each. Before and after the implementation of each of the techniques, the individuals will undergo vocal recording for perceptual-auditory and acoustics evaluation of voice quality, and self-evaluation of vocal and laryngeal symptoms. After the execution, they will also answer a report questionnaire about their feelings in voice, larynx, breathing and articulation. The data will be statistically analyzed through parametric tests in order to compare data before and after the application of both techniques, and to compare the studied groups. Keywords: dysphonia; voice quality; voice training; voice.
