Abstract

The objective of this project is to produce core/shell type systems optically active and deagglomerated using a combination of Pechini, sol-gel and hydrothermal methodologies. The core is a ZnO oxide semiconductor which is piezoelectric, show magnetic properties and low cost, which is covered with SiO2, in order to generate deagglomerated systems, and finally a layer of Eu2O3 in order to produce a material with luminescent properties for subsequent application as sensor. This project is a continuation of work by the applicant regarding the Proc. IC FAPESP n. 2014 / 01893-1, completed in April 2016.
