Abstract

This project consists basically in two parts. In the first one, it will be studied preliminary topics about measure theory and integration, Lp spaces, Sobolev spaces and some time dependent spaces. And in the second part, it will be studied existence and uniqueness of weak solution for wave equation and for a hyperbolic equation with a decay term, besides it will be studied decay of energy for the solutions of these equations.
