Abstract

Obesity and cancer are two of the most global diseases today, obesity is the second largest risk factor for cancer, and smoking is the first. The lifestyle is associated with metabolic changes and the inflammation process another added factor in obesity. Based on literature, we hypothesized that immune-metabolic disorders, systemic and tissue, favoring the onset and progression of several diseases and are directly involved with the state of physical training. Through physical exercise, AMP (AMPK) activates a protein kinase. Additionally, AMPK activates the receptors activated by peroxisome proliferators (PPARs). It is necessary the use of alternative treatments that reduce rates of recurrence, progression of tumor, prostate diseases and their impact on clinical outcomes of obese and diabetic patients with prostatic proliferative lesions. However, this kind of exercise has been suggested as intervention therapy in patients with PCa (prostate cancer), preventing the excessive weight gain, promoted by DH, and when there is inflammation intermittent resistance exercise decreases the harmful effects. All these factors influence directly to the individual is more prone to develop this type of cancer and other diseases. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of high fat diet and intermittent resistance exercise training on morphology and immunostaining of hormone receptors and inflammatory ventral prostate of Wistar rats. The animals will be divided into 8 groups, undergoing 8 and 12 weeks of intervention, distributed into 4 groups (n = 10): S - sedentary, DH-fat diet, T - physical training and DHT- fat diet more physical training. After randomization, the rats will be subjected to intermittent resistance training, and to sacrifice the animals will be anesthetized with thiopental anesthetic and will be remove from the ventral prostate to histological and immunohistochemistry tests. The one-way ANOVA test will be used to analyze the existence of significant differences between means.Keywords: fat diet, prostate, intermittent resistance exercise, inflammation.
