Abstract

Agricultural production systems are of different ways integrated. One of the universal factors for all countries is the question of the influence of environmental variables on production. Among these factors is the temperature, this is being widely studied due to growing discussion about global or local warming. Heat stress causes a series of physiological changes, but these need to be better studied. Therefore, in order to better understand the physiological responses of beef cattle in different seasons (summer and winter) and at different scales of temperatures during the summer (mild and hot) in Australia (Nebraska and Gatton), were measured many environmental and physiological parameters, and collected blood samples for analysis. Thus, the objective of this work is to better understand the reactions of these animals by the conditions in which they are created. For this we intend to quantify heat shock proteins (HSP30 and HSP70), moreover, it is expected to use assay kits for measuring thyroid hormones, these are related to metabolic rate and thermoregulation. She will also work your data of doctoral thesis, discussing the results with renowned researchers. (AU)
