Abstract

This project is part of a broader research conducted at the SENAC University Center, identified here as original research, which began last year and will run until the end of 2016 and intends to prepare a Sustainable Production System framework that can be applied in regions that have some potential for local production and have no model of development, so they can use it to indicate demands to guide the development of public policies and actions of the various stakeholders to bring quality of life and enhance the ecosystem turning it less artificialized.In the original study, we obtained data in the literature on experiences in Brazil and the world. In Brazil, the primary data are being raised in Parelheiros region with some Agroecology farmers. With this project - visiting researchers and their research subjects in two European universities, renowned in the subject and in different locations - one in Portugal and one in Italy - is intended to meet on-site, especially in the old continent, the challenges and opportunities faced by researchers, farmers, authorities and other stakeholders in the development of sustainable local production systems and is believed to be of great contribution to the achievement of the objective of the research.
