Abstract

The search for physical activity has increased, especially for health and aesthetics question. People look for different training programs that improve their quality of life. For this reason, aerobic training has shown an alternative and recommended strategy for specialists, as much for healthy individuals and for people with some cardiovascular involvement, intended to improve of health. A strategy quite used is the continuous aerobic training, which helps to maintain and to reduce body weight provides a reduction in the fat mass and an increase in lean body mass. In the last years came a new program, High-intensity Interval/intermittent Training (HIIT). Studies report that HIIT has improved aerobic metabolism, enhancing the ability to transport and use oxygen as well as the increase in fatty acid oxidation capacity. The adjustments in the anaerobic metabolism increase muscle protein contents linked to oxidation and glucose transport, accompanied the reduction in usage rate in the substrate during exercise performance. Therefore, this project is to evaluate the effectiveness of different aerobic training programs on the kinetics of oxygen consumption in young adults. To test the hypothesis proposed by the Project, male subjects will be recruited, eutrophic, between the ages of 18 and 30, which divided into three groups to identify what are the answers of the three protocols front of capacity and aerobic power.
