Abstract

We are going to study aspects of algebraic geometry and invariant theory, in particular algebraic groups and Geometric Invariant Theory, in order to the student to learn more techniques to study representation theory and Lie theory, which is the main focus of his PhD thesis, along with some structural question of algebras, where the above subject is also relevant.
