Abstract

Through the action of active ingredients, pesticides act controlling pests, diseases and weeds by interfering in their biochemical reactions, however, as some of these reactions are common to other non-target organisms, they affect other individuals and consequently interfere in ecosystem dynamics. Therefore, aquatic ecosystems become exposed to risks as runoff and leaching can perform the dispersion of these substances in the environment. Encouraged by the prospects for using pesticides in Brazil, coupled with the need of works taking an ecotoxicological approach, integrating aquatic and terrestrial environments, this research aims to evaluate Kraft's and Score's toxicity, insecticide and systemic fungicide, respectively, acting isolated or in mixtures, in two different doses, accounting the temperature's influence (18, 23 and 28 oC), with ground-water simulators experience that allow a joint analysis of both compartments. The acute toxicity tests will be performed with the Daphnia Similis' species (Cladocera), seeking an integrated analysis of the pesticides effects to aquatic communities. (AU)
