Abstract

Agricultural development, promoted by the Green Revolution increased the use of fertilizers and pesticides, making Brazil the world's largest consumer of pesticides since 2008. In order to assess the impacts of these and other substances in the environment that emerges in 1970 essays of toxicity. The environmental risk of pesticide analysis studies focus on experimental simulation of aquatic ecosystems, and rare ones with emphasis in the soil community and even less in integrated soil-water assessment, although several international regulatory bodies have already recommended this need. Against the setting of the extensive use of pesticides in Brazil and the lack of ecotoxicological studies that default an integrated assessment between the aquatic and terrestrial environments, this project aims to assess the toxicity of pesticides Kraft® (insecticide) and Score® (fungicide), applied alone and in mixtures in two doses, as well as their interactions under different temperature conditions (18, 23 and 28 °C and natural temperature), using for this purpose an experimental system that allows the analysis of aquatic and terrestrial environments simultaneously. Will be considered acute bioassays and post-exposure with Daphnia similis and Ceriodaphnia silvestrii, and the candid Folsomia and Hypoaspis (Geolaelaps) aculeifer. It is hoped thus demonstrating the toxicity of pesticides, their interactions and the influence of temperature increase in toxicity as well as contribute to a unique experimental system in which to evaluate the environmental effects of contaminants in aquatic and terrestrial organisms simultaneously.
