Abstract

To assist in designing new MRI methods we developed a generic framework (Python Magnetic Resonance - PyMR) and an integrated development environment with support PyMR called Torm IDE. In this research project, we propose the expansion of PyMR, which aims to configure and manage an MR system, and the adaptation of the TORM IDE, integrated development environment for designing of Magnetic Resonance methods, developed to work along with PyMR. The main goal is to unify into a single software application, in the form of plug-ins for the Eclipse IDE, all of them necessary for this development. Together, the expansion of PyMR occurs in the implementation of the planned classes and small ancillary software packages for editing generic objects. Moving to Eclipse will facilitate the installation of the development environment, because of its stable base and all the basic features of a robust Integrated Development Environment, and a high rate of acceptance by the community of software developers. It is intended that way, to unite it with the features of TORM IDE in the form of plug-ins to bring a strength never before found in an MR system, be it a simple Relaxometer or a complex Magnetic Resonance Imaging scanner (MRI). Preliminary results show its ability to manage various methods of Magnetic Resonance generated as the initial suites for Relaxometry Systems, Analytical Spectrometers and MRI scanners, and its integrability with PyMR.
