Abstract

In this project we are going to study curves and surfaces in the Euclidean and in the hiperbolic space. More precisely, we are going to make a comparison study between the curves and surfaces in both ambients. We are going to use also the software Mathematica as auxiliary in order to obtain a better visualization of the examples and a better comprehension of the teory. The University of São Paulo has a site license for the use of that software, which can be used by the students. In this way, we will have the possibily of using it, during the developing of our project.
