Abstract

Spirituality is a concept difficult to define, involving the search for meaning and connection to something greater, regardless of the presence of a religious systematic and formal practice. Several studies had shown the importance of addressing patient's spirituality in the medical context, but it is not performed in many cases. This study aims to assess factors correlated with the approach of patient's spirituality by physicians of HC-FMUSP complex and the difficulties encountered by these professionals through a validated questionnaire and subsequent statistical analyzes.
