Abstract

Mathematical models can be used to address several questions related to diseases's temporal and spatial patterns. Also, relevant epidemiological parameters that cannot be accessed experimentally can be estimated from these models that constitute a silico laboratory. The develop of new methodologies that couple data, disease knowledge, and models are an actual challenge.Infectious diseases like Dengue, and hospital acquired infections are examples and the subject of this project.
