Abstract

This study aims to analyze the tension and deformation caused by an incisal loading on superior canines which will receive different types of minimally invasive preparation for ultrafine contact lens and be restored by vitroceramics. Two methodologies will be applied to measure tension and deformation: the extensiometry method and the Finite Element mathematic method. 8 similar dimensioned teeth will be selected to receive different types of preparation and, posteriorly, to be restored agreeing to each kind of preparation. The measures will happen in each of the stages in every tooth: higid, prepared and restored. The same situations will be simulated on ANSYS 17.0 software to Finite Element Analysis and, using the data provided by each of the measure techniques, it's expected to be found a correlation that allows the validation of the canine tooth model to posterior studies.
