Abstract

The present research project proposes the enhancement of the computational model for supersonic panel flutter currently in development for the scientific initiation programme. For this purpose, laminated composite theory will be used to include in von Kármán's static nonlinear plate model the possibility to simulate the mechanical behavior of this kind of material. The formulation of the model will be executed at University of Porto's Faculty of Engineering, under the supervision of Professor António J. M. Ferreira. (AU)
