Abstract In Brazil, is verified a significant number of thermic injury cases. In this scenario, the existence of a specialized treatment can be noticed, including the repairing plastic surgery. Although, for those who keep the burning aftereffects, there is just a few support and care offer. The objective of the present paper is understand how a person suffering with burning aftereffects sees and gives meaning to the experience, and which necessities and demands show a relation with the healthy assistance after the hospital discharge. This a qualitative research, supported by the Social Psychology's theoretical approach and the contributions of authors from the Public Health field. The research will be implemented with the Santa Casa de Misericordia in Guaratinguetá, where we will made contact, inviting to join this research. The methodological strategies adopted will be the semi-structured interview and the analysis of public domain documents. The data collected thought the interviews will be treated under the technical analysis of contents. (AU) | |
